There'due south a wonderful message at the foundation of this volume near the importance of art:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to relieve art and, in doing so, save culture. Without art and civilization, what are we humans? Zero but bumbling barbarians with no beauty in our lives!

The volume is blatantly educational, only in a fun way. Young readers will learn near Renaissance painters, the customs of different cultures, how to behave if attacked past wolves, and more. They may even pick up a petty Italian or Russian.

Topics explored cover ecology: "Sadly, I take discovered toxins I had never seen before in bears and reindeer," said Dr. Pardue. "They are coming from nonbiodegradable plastics being dumped into the oceans."

Food: We were sitting in the living room of our hotel suite eating the black breadstuff, porridge, blini and oladyi -- which are served with butter, sour cream, jam and caviar.

Art: Simply 50 [Faberge] eggs were ever made," reported Larissa Bukova. "And they were crafted right here in Saint Petersburg by the jeweler to the czars, Carl Faberge!"

And social studies: "There are no bad people, no bad nations. Not the Russians, not the North Koreans. It's always just a small group of knuckleheads in a land. Usually rich greedy men. Not always. But ordinarily."

Treasure Hunters: Peril at the Top of the Earth is packed with hilarious illustrations and offers adventure at every turn. Car chases, stealth missions, dog sledding, and cold fish pizza -- the Kidd kids take on their biggest case however, and the reader is lucky enough to tag along.

Earlier long, the Kidds find themselves racing to St. Petersburg, Russia, where they are drawn into the center of a major art theft at the Hermitage. Thus starts another adventure in which the family will observe themselves heading to exotic locations to collect clues in society to find out what happened to the missing art. This proves to be even more important since the Hermitage was 1 of only a few major fine art museums that had pieces stolen from it.

Humor, adventure and fun characters continues with this 4th book in the series. The book seems perfect for middle schoolhouse (or intermediate) readers. The story is told from the perspective of Bick while his sister Beck draws the cartoonish illustrations making for a prissy mixture of graphic novel and narrative formatting, which has become more mutual for this age group. The volume is a quick read, and information technology definitely gets you thinking as you effort and solve the mystery before the Kidd family does.

Volume four in this serial is again filled with a cheap plot which feels lime an inferior re-create of a really expert adventure story. Information technology is like it is there somewhere, and this circles all about it simply never reaches information technology, partly because of weak two dimensional characters, and the necessity to endeavor and push the story lonely with zippy capacity and never get bogged down in actual plot and decent book writing, but rushing off to the next scene.
Ordinary merely not as terrible as other series from Patterson Inc.
